Between January and March 2011, the Red Tape Reduction Commission consulted with Canadians and received approximately 2,300 ideas about red tape irritants that get in the way of business productivity. The full report was unveiled in January 2012. It contains 15 systemic changes and 90 department-specific recommended solutions to eliminate or alleviate these irritants.
