TYJC operates in two phases; a life skills/pre-employment phase and a work placement phase. It is designed to help “at-risk” youth aged 16-29 who are no longer attending school to maintain and secure employment through the provision of counselling, life skills workshops, hands-on work experience and a supported job placement of up to 24 weeks. Youth earn an income throughout the project.
